In 1991 the company ECCOS METALS INDUSTRY LTD. was born, focused on the production of stamped components intended mainly for the automotive market, started their activities as service provider in the areas of tooling, stamping and electrostatic powder painting, became known in the market and expanded their horizons. After 15 years of existence, and due to the recognition of competence and an increase in sales mainly for the automotive market, a need for expansion of physical space emerged and the separation of activities focusing on automotive customers, those belonging to ECCOS Industry. A new company was created for clients of the white line, and light stamping, this named as ECCOSTECNO METALURGICAL LTD.

The ECCOSTECNO METALURGICAL, with 100% Brazilian capital was founded in 2007, set its reason to exist offering technological solutions to market products and components for light stamping, powder painting, anodizing, machining and assembly. The company is currently located in the Industrial District of Indaiatuba city, at Sao Paulo state. In 2008 acquired the company Gerbo Engineering and Manufacturing Ltd., with the goal to expand the business offering products and solutions for Retail Automation and Banking Automation, with the purpose of producing and selling cash drawers, bills counters, coin counter and sorter machines, beyond the representation of imported products for different segments. Because it is a highly recognized company on the market for over 20 years, it was decided to keep the Gerbô Brand in their respective products.
